I know....it seems like the easiest way to get to be a writer at Marvel is to go and become a hit writer for a tv series of films and then submit t marvel.

To submit to marvel you need to have something previously published elsewhere. and you need to send a copy of it to them, or a list of your published accomplishments, and then they will review it and if they like it they will ask for your sumission....it's dumb.

I'm still pissed off about the Whol EPIC thing they butchered.

i think it work more like, you have to have a successful book else where and then they hit you with exclusive contract

I never finished th Evil that Men Do. I bought the first three of four than came out on time, but then I never bought another. And I am not going to buy the Rest of Daredevil: The Target....though I doubt we'll see it.

I am also not going to buy the rest of Ultimate Wolvrine vs Hulk.

evil that men do is a good read to finish... though Wolvie vs hulk was tooo stupid for me to care about reading.. plus i hate ultimate anyway

i find it funny how marvel and dc don't accept new writer submissions. but they will give titles to "hollywood" writers cause they has some sorta alor to them. but half the time marvel and dc look bad cause the writer has more important things to do.

see im personally ok with it... joss had short delays on ast. but Kevin is ridiculous.. he doesnt even have a "i care" mentallity... not like joss and Heinberg do.. they know and appreciate the readers. Allan usually responds to me when i write to him on myspace. plus unlike kevin, Allan came up with these characters and gave them heart, with evil that men do, anyone coulda came aboard and finished that...

i'm think more next year, i think thats why they are doing a world war hulk tie issue so people don't think the book is dead. i never got the toy biz figures cause once they came out, they already had new costumes

i bought a 2nd box set.. and plan on customizing a modern look of them.. wont be hard to do

thats kinda sad.. and makes ya sound like a spoiled, impatient fanboy.. as long as its a good read im fine.. theres alot of really great delayed books... and a HUGE amount of on time horrible ones.. or just "fillers" where nothing sweet and important happens.. id rather wait and it be worth my money

I am not Spoiled....well maybe I am. Am I spoiled for expecting less than one year between two issues? I am fine with a two or three month gap, But anything over a year is 100 percent unacceptable. And I will not spend a cent on it. Sorry if that makes me spoiled (Which it doesn't) but I believe that I as a fan should not be treated like crap. And over a year between issues? That is treating me like crap. Not only that the Quesada/Smith relationship treated writers like crap. Bendis had a story he wanted to do using Bullseye, but he wasn't allowed to do that becuase smith was using Bullsyey in the The Target. So the Bendis story got delayed, then eventually let him do it anyway because it is blatently obvious that The Target will never be finished.

Pissed me off to because I am not a fan of DD but I bought The Target solely becuase I was (WAS) a huge fan of Kevin Smith. And I feel as though I have been pissed on for being a fan....Marvel let me dwn big time.

no, i feel like you're fine with feeling that way with people like Kevin.. but honestly.. the book is really a good read to finish.. dont buy it for kevin.. buy it cuz its spidey and cat... and you have an unfinished book you might as well just get rid of.

now when people act like that towards YA ... it pisses me off... because it hasnt been a year, and its not like he left it hanging in the middle of a series
