I just saw this movie in theaters today and I'm honestly a bit shocked I'm not seeing many talk about this one. Maybe because it's not on Prime yet, but I honestly think it's worth the theater experience (even if you're like me and you're likely to just start crying your ass off in the theater lol)

This was such a powerful film. One of the most moving, gut-and-heart-wrenching films I've seen in my life, no exagerration. This was a brave effort from Shia LaBeouf, who delivers a career-defining performance here as well as a fantastic screenplay.

I urge anyone to watch this film. What an experience .

It's not playing anywhere near me either but I wish it was. I really want to see it. My theater got Brittany Runs a Marathon and that was an Amazon release so I'm hoping they repeat and get this one.

I had to drive an hour away to a theater to see it, so I definitely get it.

It was absolutely worth it, however. I just couldn't wait any longer for it to come on Amazon lol

Prime is being ridiculous with this. Aeronauts has a Prime release date and this one still doesn't

Saw this this past weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed it a lot of really heartfelt moments and a couple moments had me welling up.

I saw this last night. Shia LaBeouf and Noah Jupe are so good in this, it's crazy that they aren't getting more buzz. You can tell Shia really put his heart and soul into this, and I loved what Alma Har'el did with it.

Holy **** is Shia phenomenal in this. I don't think I have ever witnessed two performances be so different between his role in this and Peanut Butter Falcon, but I'm glad I watched both back to back. It's bleak as hell, but at the same time so damn engaging and riveting. Every scene between him and Noah Jupe was aces with the Lucas Hedges stuff easily being the weakest. Not saying it was bad, because this might actually be one of his better performances IMO, but it was surprising to me just how little time was spent on his story, although it's probably for the best considering how powerful those scenes are with him as a kid. Their is just so much to lover here from the performances, to the cinematography and direction and of course the writing which is also exceptionally well written by Shia and I'd definitely love to see him write and potentially direct more stuff.

9/10

I'm happy whenever someone watches this gem of a film. I still can't believe it doesn't have a single Oscar nomination.

*heavy sigh*
