I'll bet the Led Zeppelin scalpers will be able to command far more than the Spice Girls scalpers. The website for their one time reunion crashed repeatedly from the billions of people trying to get on it to put their name into the ticket lottery.

Yeah, they've been sold out here for months, and I heard women talking about nosebleeds for $400?!!!?!?

I can only hope that means that world catastrophe will be averted. "Help me, Led Zeppelin, you're my only hope.."

pop music is so bad now that the spice girls music is classic in comparison

Yeah, it's sad crap like this is so popular but on the bright side nearly concert I want to go see never sells out.

It's the end of the music world as we know it. An apocalypse brought on by bad taste and spoiled tween girls. :csad:

:whatever:

I can't speak on behalf of the Spice Girls (people still want to see them? really??), but I know a few moms desperate for Hannah Montana tickets and their kids are anything but spoiled.

They just really love the show and they want to see the concert. And there's nothing wrong with that. The problem is the brokers buy up all the tickets, creating this ridiculous price surge. My friends can't afford the broker prices and are really upset that now they can't take their kids at all, which isn't fair.

I don't know the first thing about Hannah Montana, but I got screwed out of Springsteen tickets the same way, so I can relate. :cmad:

Ugh, it's just sad that those are the hottest two ticket sellers, packaged pop-singers that don't write their own songs or play an instrument, might as well go to a karoke bar.

Blame the parents that buy tickets for those prices. If my kid ask to go to a Hanna Montana concert, I'd smake them in the head.

So a concert that none of you wants to see by bands none of you likes sells out and scalpers are charging two grand a ticket for these bands that you don't like putting on these concerts you don't want to see.

Who. Cares.

Who the hell is Hanna Montana? Sounds like a country band.

I asked one of the radio station reps I advertise with if I could get a couple Hannah Montana for a co-worker because his daughter has been hounding him. My rep straight up laughed in my face.

Who the hell is Hanna Montana? Sounds like a country band.

All I've gathered is that she's Billy Ray Cyrus' daughter.

I heard Hannah Montana concert tix for Cleveland sold out in minutes and now some parents trying to get them for hundreds of dollars above tix price, crazy

damnit i was to late to buy Hannah montana tickets!! NOOOO!!! :cmad:

Hannah Montanna? From Disney Channel?! ...Billy Ray Cyrus' Daughter!?!

....I've never seen it.

But for some reason, I have a sudden urge to go out and waist $2,000 on a ticket! :wow:

What's sad is that the tickets were priced decently so that families could afford them, and the scalpers bought them all up instead and are now selling them for hundreds. My boss was so frustrated today trying to find them for her daughter. It's so not right.

But were you 9 years old when you got screwed out of Springsteen tickets?

The vendor price of Hannah Montana tickets was intended to be a "mere" $65 each, and now they're being sold for hundreds.

When I was a kid, there was no way my parents would have shelled out $65 (or whatever the 1980s equivalent would have been) for a ticket for me to go to a pop music concert. Thus, I didn't see my first rock concert until I was in high school and paying for the ticket myself.

So you don't think that the middle-schoolers going to $65-a-ticket pop concert are the least bit spoiled?
:whatever: right back atcha.

Just on the local news, they going investigate about it, they think some of the scapler were using programs to grab all the tickets as fast as they can with the program
