How do you tape your favorite tv show or movies?

I got dvd player. so I can taped it off a dvd. I also got hard drive that lets me time tape. I can watch it any time i want to. do any of you still use tapes or dvd?

I tape stuff from a certain season, watch it occasionally, wait until that season comes out on DVD, and then tape over it with the next season.

true i got a dvd player christmas before last but it won't work with my ccurrent tvs
i also have bothe a vcr and a vidieo player
,i tape a show for example tmnt on my vcr then i play it on my video player and retape it editing out the commercials

DVR, it´s just conveniant to have all my favorite shows on a pre set recording so that I don´t have to worry about missing an episode.

I used to record Spider-Man and X-men when they were on FOX, I still have those tapes but I don't record anything on TV now when down the road they'll eventually be on DVD season sets.
