I think i'm gonna go with a good ol' pros n cons (and a few "on the fence") list of the things we know and judge it on that.
Pros.
- Casting Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Ben Affleck, Jessie Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Scoot McNairy, Toa Okomoto and Callan Mulvey.

- Director, Story writer, Screen writer, Cinematographer, VFX company, Score.

Cons
-.....I dunno..

Ha, I suppose I do need to put up the sarcastic smiley! :oldrazz:

Screw the movie - its too far away to even comprehend. I am just trying to hang on for dear life for the first trailer!

I bet the first trailer is going to blow us away- IMHO of course!

It has the potential to be something special. The key word being potential at this point.

Despite principal photgraphy nearing completion, its much to early to tell how good it'll be.

That said, considering all the pieces that have come together on this........ it has the potential to hit that Avengers/Dark Knight level.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, but it really just depends on the script and what happens in the editing room.

I'm gonna use Pros and Cons (and Wild Cards).

Pros:

• Man of Steel Cast Returning
• Ben Affleck as Batman
• Jeremy Irons as Alfred
• Ray Fisher
• Chris Terrio rewriting the screenplay
• Scoot as Jimmy Olsen
• Designs of the Trinity

Cons:

• Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Has nothing to do with looks or how her costume looks good, I just don't think she's a good actress and for Wonder Woman's first live action appearance, they could do better.

Wild Cards:

• Zack directing. He's a mixed bag. He has some good films but some bad ones.
• Jesse as Lex. Jesse will make or break the film.

On the RT meter, I'm predicting this film will fall inbetween 76%-89%. It will be a major improvement over Man of Steel & overall a good film.

All that really matters is how the final product will turn out. But I do think this has the potential to be something truly special.

After DOFP I'm going to take a break from predicting the worse from certain CBM.

I don't really like the director or cast but it doesn't hurt if DC gives Marvel some healthy competition.

I think it'll be a complete cluster**** with some okay to good moments, but overall just a mess. See also: The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

fixed.

Right now, I think it'll be a little better than MOS, but still just okay.

Then vote on poll!:oldrazz:

we're less than a year and a half away from this movie, yet the hype level is extremely high, probably the most hype for a film ever.

It won comic con 2 years in a row, the first with just an announcement, and the second with a trailer from footage that isn't even in the movie.

The root of Man of Steel's problem (Goyer) isn't in charge of the screenplay and has been replace with an Oscar award winning writer personally appointed by Affleck himself.

This will be the first time ever that the two biggest and most influential super heros of all time will meet on the big screen, and visually there is no one better to give that to us than Zack Snyder.

Ben Affleck, lifelong Batman fan and director of critically acclaimed films such as The Town, Gone Baby Gone, and Argo is our Batman. From a visual standpoint he seems to be the most physically imposing and comic accurate Batman we've ever gotten.

No one can sabotage this movie. Rotten Tomatos, Devin Farci, and the rest of the anti-DC hollywood movement can do or say whatever they want.... but when March 25th, 2016 rolls around, the DC Cinematic Universe will be in full force and there is nothing they can do to stop it.

TL;DR Version: I've been waiting for this movie since I was a kid watching the Bruce Timm and Paul Dini World's Finest episode and now we're finally getting it. May not be as critically acclaimed as TDK, but it will be the GOAT superhero movie. Also f**k what the critics think.

This poll is funny. I happen to think TWS and GotG were better films than The Avengers. That being said, I think this film will be on par with TWS and GotG, critically speaking. I'm guessing financially it'll be similar to The Avengers.

The only thing that concerns me is how much influence Goyer has on the screenplay. Hopefully, it's mostly Terrio influenced. I'm not worried about any of the actors.

I think Goyer is great at writing a story doing the script is another story. What I think is if you have Goyer on the story and someone else always on the script it will make a big difference.

Whats wrong?

I don't think it will be the greatest comic movie ever made, nor will it be on par with The Avengers, The Dark Knight, or The Winter Soldier (I haven't seen Guardians yet). I feel like it will be less than average in quality, though it will probably be highly rated by some (pretty much any movie has its fans). As for the last option: "A terrible movie with Spectacle over Substance.Snyder sucks", I can't choose that one, either, because while I think the movie will be terrible, it's probably not going to be due to a Spectacle over Substance approach, or wholly be Snyder's fault. Furthermore, I enjoyed both 300 and Watchmen, so I can't claim that I feel that Snyder sucks either. I can't vote because you gave me no options.
