Remember the commercial of a following episode that had Nathan asking Peter this line? Whatever happened to that clip? I don't recall it ever being shown...

I remember seeing it in the previews for one of the earlier episodes, maybe around 5 or so, or am I just crazy?

It was in the "coming weeks" preview...Which aired after the show's first marathon. I was wondering about that scene when the episodes previewed were all fully shown.

It's obvious that the word "fly" was edited in. Specifically for the preview, of course.

probably...I mean Nathan's got to come to grips with his powers eventually. And seeing as he's essentially a good person at heart, maybe he embraces it like Peter...

It's gonna be amusing if Nathan is in office and finds himself ducking away from people and jumping out of windows to help people.

Hmmmm, yeah corrupt senators who pay off the mother of their illegitimate child rather than facing up to their responsibilities are great people at heart...

I'm still saying it was just edited that way to generate interest. If you watch the promo, it's all episodes from the first half of the season; things we saw weeks and weeks ago. The episodes we're watching now were probably still being shot and edited at the time that spot first aired.

Hey we've all gotta do what we've all gotta do. As far as he knows, Claire's got parents, a "good family," as the mother put it to Nathan. It's not like he abandoned them, he thought they died in a fire.

But he isn't a "good" person then if hes willing to brush aside the "small" facts of the past.

Good people don't always make the right calls, sometimes they make a wrong decision thinking it's the right one... when they finally figure it out (Oh, my mother IS sadistic, and Politics AREN'T important) they go back and fix it... Nathan's not there yet, but I wouldn't say he's a bad person simply because he's not morally intuitive.

Exactly...I think his mothers influence is throwing his moral compass off...but I mean look at how bad he felt about Claire and her mom, and how he had to sort of convince himself it was better he never met (claire)...he IS a decent guy at heart, he just needs a shot at redemption

Hell if people can believe Darth Vader turned it around, then by gosh why not Nate???

When yu put it like that....I can see him sacrificing himself in some massive act of redemption
