Any new readers out there? I'm only up to about 60 but I just started in Dec. What about you?

Has to be in the thousands. That's just a guess, lacking any real mathematical analysis, but, yeah, I'm saying it's in the thousands.

I am not willing/unable to count that many.

Everyone come to community. I'm making a thread on how many meals you've eaten that contained actual food.

let's see
started reading books seriously at age 15
from 15 until I was 20, 22 I would read about six books a year
after 22 or 23 I started reading about a book or book and a half a month
last year, I broke my own record and read a whooping 20 something books the whole year
and I am not counting books I read from and for work (I am a history/geography/ethics jr high school teacher) and graphic novels
oh yes, this year I have read about 8 books already
someone else do the math

can't even try to count. almost close to the thousands
when i'm not busy i read about a book or two a week

It says a lot if you actually have an answer to this question.

I've read enough to consider re-reading books I've read before than reading anything new.

Impossible for me to know. I started reading at a VERY young age, and have always read a lot.

You've just started reading in December? What inspired you to start?

I've got degrees in English Literature and Journalism, my job is reading. I've got more books than many town libraries, I even have a storage space rented with just books.
