The song is pure 80's cheese so how to use it in TF2 (which is coming)? I'd love to see the sequel take place a few years after the first. Sam and Mikeala are getting married. At the reception Sam serenades Mikeala, "this is a song I wrote just for you baby", Sam is well piss drunk at this point and starts in with a godawfull rendition of The Touch with his blonde friend playing keyboard.......badly.

We don't need no more goof story, we don't need to see no one else getting married. I think they put all that comedy in the movie, to help it's cheesyness. However Trans could have did without it. In the sequel, more serious, darker, and more people getting killed. It's giant robots, people has to die. Now that Trans is a success, make the second one right. No more cheese, please.

Um, wouldn't it be more than odd if Sam and Mikela get married?

I mean they would only be dating two years, presumably, and be college students.

In the film they were, I forgot, either Sophmores, Juniors or Seniors. I would guess Sam is possibly 17 years old.

I know some college students get married that early, but it just seems way too fast.

Hey, at least it wouldn't be Deep Impact age though. Lol.

No...Bumblebee is too hip to revert back to THAT.

he reverted back to oldies that were older than the 80's, so i don't see why not.

I kinda wish they had played 'Instruments of Dectruction', when the changed to the rock music played during the BB/Barricade chase scene. Would have been perfect.

I'm definitely going to try and edit some 86 movie tunes into this movie once it hits dvd. Just for geek's sake.

How about they not use it at all. That song was for the 80's cartoon, not the new movies. Never really liked the song to begin with anyway.

bumblebee should have played that out of his speakers in this movie.

period. it would have been aces.

They could use it if Sam's mom has more line's about *********ion???
Oh, excuse me, "Sam's Happy Time."

Did you even watch G1??? It was total cheese!! The 1st movie even had them dancing to Weird Al!!!! You really can't get any cheesier than THAT!

Oh sick :down

....maybe ;)

the next movie should just be about the robots and sam's close connection relationship with Bumblebee

This is silly but there could be a new character in the next movie (Sam's even crazier friend from college) who has to have a theme song to everything. Sam, his crazy friend and Bumblebee are being chased and his friend pops in a "chase CD" (or loads it from his iPod) and after a really dramamtic and cool maneuver to lose the bad guy, his friend skips to "The Touch." Then suddenly the bad guy pops back up behind them and the chase resumes.

:word:

I asked my brother, who loves transformers, if this song was in the movie. Before I saw it. I was joking, but he said that it would have been awesome if it was.

I THINK he was joking.

it would be funny if it was on the radio at one point though. The song is so bad its funny.

They should've included this when Mikaela and Sam were on the hood making out.

When Sam touches her ... Bumblebee should play : "You've got the touch!"

Didn't Stan Bush write some new songs for the film that they decided not to use?
