Hustlers | STX Films

I'm just gonna come out with it, do any of the main cast get nekkid? I mean one of the major names, not like an extra. If so, that may be a ticket bought for Terry78. :o

Surprised with the good reviews, but then again I've had just the recent realization that the director for this is the same for Pixar's upcoming Soul. :yay:

Adam McKay also worked on this thing. He was already an executive producer from the beginning and I read somewhere that he helped polish the script.

This is directed by Lorene Scafaria, Soul is Pete Docter and Kemp Powers.

That would have been ****ing awesome tho.

Man, Oscar talk was the furthest thing from my mind with this film. Certainly can help with Lopez's career and I'm sure she's loving it.

I liked how the used a corny ad-voice for the trailer... felt very 90’s VHS-y.

Really happy to hear all the positive reviews of this!!
I’m super excited to watch it.

I’ve always though JLO was underrated in the acting department. Even if a lot of her projects are pretty cheesy, I always thought she did well in them.

And the cast is wonderful!!
Hoping they keep this momentum once the film is released in theatres.

Though it would raise the ire of a few if she got a statue for playing a stripper as opposed to anything else lol.

everyone is talking about JL and oscars. which means the narrative worked perfectly . and its days before the premiere. good job studio

I wasn't planning on going tonight but I just was checking out the reserved seating online for a few showings and all this **** is grayed out for the rest of the night. It may hit that number one spot.

I LOVED it. Jlo really does do very well and I wouldn’t be mad at her getting an Oscar nom for this. It was interesting that there were sooooo many elderly white women in my showing, and they too loved every bit.

Yeah i thought it was great. Her best since Out of Sight imo. Wu was great too, and I can't wait to see what the director makes next.

I feel like these boards too often play the "Let's react in awe because this woman has hit 40 and somehow doesn't look like Old Rose on Titanic" game, but....

J.Lo, at age FIFTY, playing a stripper and: A.) it not feeling a little bit sad, and B.) her looking as good, possibly/probably better than these girls that are half her age?

Holy ****.

The movie was okay. Nothing to write home about, and talks of J.Lo deserving an Oscar nomination for this is a joke.

Just watched it and I loved it! Fun film, hope it is really successful. Everyone was great in it, maybe needed a pinch of more Cardi and Lizzo but other than that it was really enticing. I wouldn't watch the 20/20 special though before seeing the film since.....it ruins the films story lol. But it did a good job of adapting the real story.

This film really isnt any different imo than I, Tonya. Both based off of true stories, actresses were great in both. Give JLo and Constance a nom.

Yeah this was pretty good. And shockingly funny, the montage when they were cooking the drugs had everybody rolling.
