Okay guys,

C-Universe Kitty Pride/Shadowcat is of course able to "phase" an object --- this means that the molecular density alters and the subject/object turns into a "ghost-like" image, if you want.

Why - when Kitty left him and Juggernaut solidified - he didn't die ??? He was "stuck" into the floor... theorically, the pavement surface should have trepassed his torso like a blade, istantaneously killing him. RIGHT?

It's like Nichtcrawler if teleport himself into a solid object.

Because it's a movie and they probably didn't want to go into that.

What bugs me more is how the heck did Leech stop Juggernaut? He's not a mutant! Sot he power sucking thingo wouldn't apply right?

A. Move Juggernaut is obviously a mutant.

B. He's invulnerable so phasing him into the floor wouldn't kill him.

C. It's a movie with a guy who has a skeleton made up of a ficticious metal. So...seriously

Lol, you've got a point.

Well, first of all Juggernaut is unstoppable and so, maybe being stuck on the floor wouldn't have killed. And secondly don't you think that Juggernaut's ending would have been lame, to die there stuck on the floor?

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear - language barrier, old story. I'm Italian.

THE FLOOR IS ONE INTACT PIECE. NO BIG HOLE. JUGGERNAUT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CUT IN TWO PIECES BY THE SOLIDIFYING PROCESS.

You WERE clear. But you don't seem able to grasp the answers and explanations people are giving.

Juggernaut is invulnerable to harm, therefore the floor would not slice into him. The molecules of the floor would not be able to enter his body, they would be pushed away by his mutant power of invulnerability (which is like the forcefield he had in the cartoons and comics). That's what the writers of the movie said.

That's the answer. End of story, end of thead. The end, finito.

Why such bad attitude? I was just figuring it out... It's not my fault if I'm Italian (Homo Sapiens) and not American (Homo Superior) LOL! Ehm, just joking... just joking...

INVULNERABLE? I also supposed that the C-Universe Juggernaut was resistant and unstoppable for the effect of some strange force field aura surrounding him, but I didn't guessed he was SO MUCH "unbreakable".

Quiet! I wasn't offending anyone... belligerant Bush-type D.N.A. anyone? LOL! (JOKING!!!! IT'S CALLED 'JOKE').

I don't think Juggernaut would or should have been cut in half but being phased into the floor.

What I do find odd is that his legs weren't all crunchy afterwards. He should have been running around with concrete pieces within his legs.

The only reason I can think of is that Kitty's power works differently in the movie universe. Pushing molecules around her body rather than letting them pass through.

INTERESTING THEORY!

No, that's wrong. Read my explanation above.

Interesting, but wrong. My explanation is the answer.

There is no other answer, that is what the screenwriters themselves said.

As for why I might seem exasperated, this issue has been raised many, many times and answered each time only to be asked again and again and again.

Forgive me for not knowing everything about the movie.

I left the tab open for about 15 mintues before posting. So in that time you posted your 'official' reason and it wasn't on my screen.

nothing can stop juggernaut so its it does kinda make sense the floor didnt kill him

People are really reaching for complaints now.

Does anyone ask how spiderman survived a bomb blast to the face in the first spidey, even though it rips through his mask?

No. It's a MOVIE people. Come on.

This thread should have been less about kitty vs juggs and more about why colossus didn't show up when they were trapped in the corner for a brawl. IMO in would've been dope to see a fight where they both gained/lost powers when they got close to/far from leech. Lots mre walls should've been smashed.

I'm not complaining at all, since I'm PRO-X3. I'm just figuring out the sequence. I suppose X-Maniac is right on this issue. Juggernaut's aura is much stronger than any other mutant power which manages to "act" on it.
That's why - when Kitty left him to his fate - the solidyifing process wasn't "able" to perform on him. Brilliant.

Whoops, I apologise then- I assumed it was another attack on x3 which i loved :(

Even what the writers said about Juggernaut's invulnerability has always been that way in the comics...I still can't believe that people are still questioning this...

She simply, didn't know who he was.. :p

I don't know if that even happen the comics, but, i do remember kitty doing this to juggy in a x-men" evilotion episode.
my question with that scene was, why didn't he fall down once he broke the floor around him, how was he able to jump up from being in a hole in the floor, with out anything to get a feeting on, (in wasn't supose to bet he first floor was) they should of shown him lefting himself out.

On a normal mutant, what Kitty did would result in death.

Juggernaut however is immune to physical damage. His molecules were able to fend off the floor molecules, thus he only got stuck, and didn't die.

As for Leech not being able to stop Juggernaut. He was a mutant in the movie, so Leech's powers would work on him, and quite rightly so. None of this silly mystical gem nonsense in the movie universe.

The entirety of Juggernaut's role is lame . . . Yes, his simply being stuck in the floor would be a lame ending, but it is basically no more lame than watching him run into a wall (knocking himself out) and then never hearing from him again.
