I was on the site that checks out recent sex offenders and I came across his picture. It said that he had sex with a minor I'm wondering if I should asking about what happen?

What would you do if you knew?

How old is this guy when it happened? I knew a guy, not good friends but I knew him, that had an underage girlfriend, he was 18 she was 16, and he broke up with her and she filed statutory rape charges. ****ing stupid but oh well.

Damn yo, the bold letters make the question intense.

lol well, depending on the minor's age and his at the time. :o

IF the chick is 17 technically they can charge you with something. More than likely it's in that scope, but if it's like a massive age diff, then....don't know.

We are both 32 now it said it happen about 7 years ago. I know there are 2 sides to every story but should i confront him about it?

Whoa. Its up to you. Are you reallyreally close? Is he the type that would get mad if you asked him about it?
Just remember that if you wnd up hearing his side, it is just that - his side.

I've known him since middle school...but he's always been cool with me it's just that he has never told me and I found out thur a web site. Don't know how he will take it?

, there is alot scattered in my area.

There is a lot scattered in almost every area. It's sad. I checked all around the towns where I live to see where would be the place with the least around so I could feel safer for my kids, and there's no such thing as a safer place.

I know this isn't sex offender but one of my friends lives right next door to a doctor who killed a man.

Okay. Well, in that case I think I'd just bite the bullet and ask him about it. Be really honest about it being hard for you to ask him about it but yopu just had to... Just uh, be careful, I guess.
I don't really know what to say. Its such an extreme situation!

Im going to its been bugging me all weekend (I found out on Friday at work.)

He probably banged some 17 year old when he was 25. **** happens. Or, he likes little boys. Either way, I think it's a fair question to ask. He's a close friend, and it's something you should know. Don't be afraid to ask. If it isn't a big deal, he'll tell you, if it is a big deal then you have to decide if you want a friend that maybe have preyed on children.

Figures, I'm the one coming here with advice.

hahaha, I love the way you put that. That's like me having an assault charge and I either punched a guy in the face or beat the hell out of some girl

I mean, what can I say, I try to stay positive.

This is why the registered sex offender list is a form of cruel and unusual punishment. There's no reason to confront him, his hasn't done anything wrong and it's probably something he doesn't want to talk about. Either way he's already served his time or paid his debts in some form or another.

I say leave him the hell alone about his personal life. If he hasn't brought it up already he probably doesn't want to talk about it.

I would agree with you if the law was fair. First of all some 18 to 25 year old shouldn't be on there if they had sex with a 16 or 17 year old unless it was rape. Second, if he did molest a child then he didn't really serve his time because for some reason those guys get out within a couple years even when they are repeat offenders so it's not like he was really punished for what he did.

just print the pic of his sex offender mugshot and throw it on the coffee table like "oops, heeeeey . . . . what's THIS?" lol
