For me nothing more terrifying then proper existential dread. The euphoria of finally out who you are, only to find yourself to afraid to be yourself. That suffocating feeling, knowing time is running out. The finale hits me like a ton of brinks. With the current attempt to genocide trans people in the US and UK, the film resonances even more for me.I watched this a little while ago and I didn't hate it at all but I didn't fully understand it either. I appreciated what it was trying to do but as a horror movie, I don't know. It kind of left me cold in that regard. I was more confused than creeped out.
