Hey, great thread !
Lots of these, and a lot of people have covered them but I'll put in my 10c.
( that's the smallest coin we have down here in NZ).
This is in no particular order, just the order that I thought of them.
1. Superman (man there are heaps from this film)
saves Lois Lane (Superman the Movie) and of course smiling at the audience
as he flies off into the sunrise. Classic.
2. Flight, in Man of Steel ( yo, haters, rather than ***** about how it's not iconic
why don't you instead post some iconic moments of your own).
There were plenty of other iconic moments
- Jor El's death
- the end of Krypton
-First Flight, as mentioned above
-the battle of Smallville.
- destroying the world engine
- the death of Zod (love it or hate it, it's going to be something people remember MOS for)
3. Batman 1989, Batman's entrance at the Art Gallery.
4. Spider Man (Raimi) the upside down kiss, saving MJ/ the cable car and the final swing.
5. Spider Man 2, being carried by the train passengers.
6. X Men, Magneto turns the cops guns against them. "You homo sapiens and your guns."
7. The Crow, "I see you have made your decision, now let's see you enforce it"
after which mayhem ensues.
8. The Dark Knight, wow there are heaps of great moments in this film, probably
my favourite Superhero film ever.
- Batman's first appearance
- the whole interrogation scene
- Harvey's final coin toss
- The ending, as in "He's the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now."
-
9. Kick Ass, shooting D'Amico with the Bazooka was pretty epic,
great way for a bad guy to go, oh and the "flying home" sequence
with the jetpack, nice.
10. No one will probably agree with me on this one, but the OP asked what we
thought were Iconic moments, so I'm going to go with X Men Last stand
when Jean disintigrates Xavier, his final smile at Logan before he's gone.

all in all, not the best X film, and the whole Dark Phoenix plot wasn't executed as well as it could have been, but this was still a great moment.
Cheers !
