Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue OD'ed on heroin, was revived by the paramedics, checked himself out of the hospital, then went home to shoot up again. That's hardcore!

While on tour with Ozzy, in escalated dares the members of Motley Crue and Ozzy were snorting ants and drinking each other piss.

Let's see any of those whiney rock bands of today try that.

Um...are you sure that is "hardcore"? I'm pretty sure those kind of behaviors beg a diagnosis from the DSM-IV.

I work with a lot of current bands and frankly, its disappointing.

I remember one time I pointed out a hot chick in the crowd and the drummer of the band said "we respect our female fans and dont treat them like objects". I told him, "that girl WANTS you to think shes sexy!" I'm not sure where and why bands forgot that, but the girls in the crowd want to think that the singer notices them...this doesnt mean they are ll groupies...its just human nature to want a famous person that you think is hot to notice you.

There are drugs and alcohol and stupid pranks, but it isnt the way history tells of the legends. A lot of drug use is private, even some of my friends who ended up getting hooked really kind of hid it a bit from me.

I just gotta say, it's a sad day for rockstars when John Mayer is more well-known for his pranks. Like that time he put on a bear suit, and harassed his own fans in the parking lot.

actually, one of the dudes in the black lips will piss in his own mouth while playing his guitar on stage. thats impressive.
