Indulge me for a second, what's your thoughts on the Boston Red Sox and NE Patriots

Yeah I get that, but I don't need people telling me to be excited.
Hell I made it possible for them to get tickets to some pretty good games and to physically see them. I'm just annoyed. I watch at home occasionally under my own terms and in comfort.

I understand, I'm that way too for the most part. Although I would like to try out being an ultra just once, to see what its like. :D

I like the Red Sox. I'm a Met fan and during the 90's, my hate of the Yankees grew more than ever. I took great pleasure in seeing the Yankees collapse to the Red Sox in 04.

I hate football all together so I couldn't care less about the Pats.

no its not like that in LA.. yes we love our teams and are passionate.. but theres far TOO MANY other things to be involved in as well..

what i hear from many sports talk show hosts.. is that the BOSTON/NEW ENGLAND area is worst than anywhere in the country...

all the headlines are about their teams EVERYTHING is about their teams...
they say its harder to be a proplayer in boston than anywhere else.. cause of the scrutiny....

there are alot of passionate cities...im just saying what i heard

and no L.A. isnt like that..

we got to many fake breasts in town to be involved THAT thoroughly:woot:

I find New York City to be far worse. Everything is about the Yankees from April to October. All other sports news is overshadowed by the Yankees.

And it is incredibly hard for a player to play as a Yankee. Look at Randy Johnson and Alex Rodriguez. The best left handed strike out pitcher ever and the best SS of this era are considered "wash-ups" by NY media.

I'm a Massachusetts native so I do like the Sox and Patriots, but I don't follow them too close. Sorry, football and baseball are excruciatingly boring sports. Give me the Bruins anyday.
