I'm sure you're all familiar with this. It is the study from a few weeks ago that puts civilian deaths in Iraq at 600,000.

Here is an interesting statistic...even the most conservative estimates right now, put the casualties at 200,000. THE LOWEST ACCEPTED ESTIMATES...

It took Saddaam Hussein 25 years to kill 200,000 Iraqis. Since the war it has happened in 3 years.

Another interesting statistic....chances of dying a violent death in Iraq have risen 58 % since the U.S. occupied Iraq.

How can anyone say life is better for Iraqis?

No, and as I said several times...we really f***ed them over.

Is there any real solution in Iraq? I mean if we stay the course I dont see how the insurgents are going to give up anytime soon. But if we decide to leave, the Insurgents are probably going to take over the country and were going to have a bigger problem now than we did when Sadaam was in power! Is there a solution?

Leave and let them decide there own fate.

i think the majority of iraqi people want what america initially offered them: freedom, democracy, etc....but the only way thats gonna happen is if the iraqi people themselves unite and fight for that...chances of that happening are slim to none.

Your probably right but you didnt answer my question;)

I don't believe this study. I hate bush, but there are people will try to deceive us into hating him more. it's not necessary. we already hate him, and when people put fake figures like this out there, it only hurts america more, because it helps feed the hatred for america which is what I want undone.

Its not a fake study. It is the number the Pentagon is putting out as the ammount of civilian deaths in Iraq (200,000). And that is currently their conservative estimate. Other estimates range from 250,000 to 600,000.

So assuming it is the lowest, 200,000...it took Saddaam Hussein 25 years to kill that many people. Something that has happened in 3 years since the occupation.
