I mean, I'm sorry, but how selfish she is too expose everybody's powers to the world so that she can bring down the company, i think she is very stupid character to actually doing that, i mean, i hope they give her a stronger role than a clueless cheerleader.

Claire was pretty stupid.

What makes her decision to expose the Company stupid is that it will probably harm her and her family more if she goes public with her secret identity. She will be discriminated upon wherever she goes and might be used as a lab test subject.

not only her, she was going to EXPOSE EVERYBODY WITH POWERS IN THE WORLD

Well you have to look at it from the characters perspective:

1. She has been through some pretty traumatic experiences dealing with her powers and all of the Company mess and hiding her secret

2. She just lost her father to all of this mess

3.She is very young, and is acting on her emotions and not thinking clearly about all of the ramifications

I think she is acting the way alot of people that are her age and that have been through those things would act. She feels backed into a corner by the company and her abilities. She has been living in secret and fear all of this time and it hasn't worked out for her. So naturally in her mind doing the exact opposite would be the only option.

I think calling her a DA is a little harsh...just my opinion.

Well, the company was responsible for trying to destroy New York City, and its actions nearly destroyed the World.

But stupidity runs in her family, apparently. Look at her uncle.

Claire's a f***tard.

Yeah, I don't know what she was thinking.

Yes, but no matter how stupid she is...Mr.Muggles will never leave her. :cwink:

even Mr. Muggles was berating her for trying to expose the company

Claire was awful this season. Her stupidity seemed to know no bounds. Volume Two seemed to have a lot of that though. There were numerous when I believed the cognitive functions of Mohinder, Peter, Hiro and Maya were all seriously lacking at one point or another, but Claire topped them all for me.
Maybe Mr. Muggles has powers, too.
I could buy that. Mr. Muggles possesses the gift of either extraordinary restraint or mind-numbing obliviousness. Otherwise, he would have snapped into Claire like a Slim Jim, hoping it would bring some sense into her.

I agree. Plots shouldn't be made at the expense of the characters. In otherwords, it is foolish to force your plot lines to progress through out of character behavior or straight out stupidity of characters.

She's a silly teenager. Can you imaging if Noah was like, I don't know, 15 minutes late or something. She would have told everybody, can you imagine the twist in the series? Or if Nathan was able to get that speech out. Can you imagine: That would be like the World finding out Bruce is Bats or when Parker came out as Spider-man! Would they be hunted? Would they become and X-Factory style team? Government operatives?

^I agree, that was one of the main problems with S2. Claire was very immature despite all the events of S1, she should've been smarter this time around, what a waste, just very poor writing.

I agree, I would imagine watching (from her POV) that her Biological Father and Uncle going Ka-Bluey over NY would be a sobering and Maturing expirence.
