Is "Noone" even a word?

I see a lot of people using it but I can't remember learning it in school (even though it was quite a number of years ago). I'm guessing it would be a pronoun, in other words its a made up word due to bad english. Funny thing is I never hear or see anyone use the word nobody, in which case is also a pronoun.
