Is the Current Disney Channel Era Almost Over?

I guess, this current era started around 2006:
*Hannah Montana is scheduled to end I think next spring. It also seems quite apparent that Miley Cyrus is trying as hard as possible to shatter her squeaky clean, Disneyfied image (e.g. pole dancing at the Teen Choice Awards, being caught lap dancing, the "I Can't Be Tamed" and "Who Owns My Heart" music videos, being photographed drinking beer in Spain, etc.)

*Selena Gomez recently announced that Wizards of Waverly Place would be ending after Season 4.

*Demi Lovato just went into rehab and the fate of Sonny with a Chance is really up in the air at the moment.

*Jonas just got canceled and it's arguable that the Jonas Bros. aren't as popular now (Justin Bieber kind of stole their thunder) as say two years prior.

Didn't know Jonas was canceled...not that I care...Nick's BTR I find a little more enjoyable....plus the guys in BTR don't creep me out like the Jonas lol...

Yeah...the era's ending.........Personally, Wizards was ok and Sonny had it's moments of cleverness IMO (I also enjoyed the supporting cast more than Demi)......

...I guess you can call it the New Gen for Disney, but I have to say Shake It Up's is pretty good, Good Luck Charlie is charming...those really are the only two I try to tune to...

Good news.

Maybe I'll start letting my 9 year old sister watch Disney channel when we hang out. Now that these crap shows are ending I might lift the Disney ban.

they should bring back Toon Disney, when I found out about it, it was already close to becoming XD
