Just because a religon is acting nice now doesn't mean it's okay now. Catholicism for most of its history has acted pretty poor.

There's nothing new about that, Masons have been the scape goat of Christians and conspiracy theorists forever. The Catholic church frowned upon secret groups for as long as they've been around, because the Pope always wants to know what his little sheep are doing.
The fact is that a great deal of the founding fathers were Masons.

I know. The feud with the Freemasons started with the Illuminati. Since they were a group who believed in science, despite the Catholic churches dislike of it and behind their backs (which is why it was a secret society), they became enemies of the church. Since the masons are always associated with the Illuminati, the Catholic church still holds a grudge against them. I don't get why these people do though, since they obviously aren't affiliated with the Vatican.

The Masons have no ties with the Illuminati, if you do some real research you'll find out that they were a group of intellectuals that have some radical beliefs for their time. The chuch was scared to death by the thought of separation of church and state (something the Mason's wanted).

I never said they were. I said they were always associated with the Illuminiti. Why don't you read a post fully before spouting off pretty much the same exact thing I just said. :whatever:
