iTunes Wont Dowload for me :S

Ok, so for Christmas, i got that iPod Nanocromatic or whatever its called. I have an older ipod with an older itunes. It says i need iTunes 8 for this new ipod.

I go to the apple site and the thing wont download for me. Ive been trying since x-mas.
When you hit download now, theres supposed to be that window with the ''run'' ''save'' ''cancel'' buttons. It doesnt show up for me. I even watched one of their tutorials to see if i was doing something wrong and i wasnt.

Anyone know whats the matter with it?

PS: Im not great with computers so bare with me.

I got it now .

But how do you import videos? Isnt it the same way as music? I have video files on my computer, but they wont transfer onto the ipod playlist.

Another question:

Is there a way(maybe a site like keepvid.com or something) to convert DVD movies into MPG4 files so I can put them on my ipod?

Yup, i am using windows.

This allows me to take movies from dvds? Or do i need another program to rid dvds?

Don't know if it will let you rip DVD's or not. Might need something else for that. I'm a Mac geek, so I have no recommendations for you on the Windows side.
