Thank you for being such a big part of my superman childhood. Many may not know this but Jackie Cooper received an academy award nomination at age 9!

You will always be my Perry White. God bless.

He had a very long and distinguished career....he was a WWII veteran....he spent decades in the Navy reserves and retired as a Captain. He was great as Perry....and will be sorely missed.

It's amazing he outlived Lane Smith from L&C my favorite Perry White. It's been a long time but I never posted a RIP for Lane when it happened, so RIP Lane Smith as well
