I just feel that if a movie calls for a character that strips for a living, and scenes of said character are going to be in the movie, the actress playing the character should be willing to get naked. It's not just about people wanting to see her naked, it's about being faithful to what the character is, what they do, and why they do it. You have to see that as part of making the character relatable. If you're not willing to do that as an actress, you shouldn't be doing that role.

Katie Holmes - "The Gift" - I thought it was just okay, kinda lame.
Anne Hathaway - "Havok" - a total crap movie
Elizabeth Berkley - "Showgirls" - universally known to be horrible
Halle Berry - "Swordfish" - I never saw Monsters Ball, and Swordfish was crap, I thought.

... and the list goes on and on. Anyone care to name anymore?

lol, kinda funny if you think about it. They stress so much that they go nude for artistic reasons... and then the movie ends up being a huge bomb.

I do favor Halle Berry's approach though.... If the movie you finally decide to "bare all" in is some over-serious drama/character-driven/moody/boring/flick... and its destined for failure... why not be like Halle Berry and go nude in a crazy, blockbuster action flick?

Could you imagine how much money Transformers 3 would make if Megan Fox went totally nude in it? NOW THAT WOULD BE BALLSY!!!!!!
