Looks interesting, a sci fi, western, Conan hybrid that starts out in Sherlock Holmes era, my interest is definitely piqued.

thats a pretty cool trailer. it looks like they were playing it a bit safe with the imagery they chose to show, like they didnt want to get too weird....but its still a cool trailer.

The trailer's good, it's like an old-school adventure but with a sci-fi setting. Love the set designs by the way.

Reposting the trailer because of a new page.

Anyway, the trailer was beautiful, they probably didn't show that much because they're still working with the CGI. The HD version is suppose to pop up soon on Apple, so I can't wait to see it in HD.

Looks cool I love movies like this. I have a soft spot for pulp period stories and characters too.

Hopefully this is like a uncampy Flash Gordon (Not that Flash Gordon wasn't good)

he-man? ;)

it looks over the top and i f.... love it. like Crockett said oldschool adventure. and lets not be in denial. Lynn looks hot. she looks as hot as eh can be in a PG13 Disney movie. ohh yeah.the green alien loks bad. very bad .but the movie comes out in march so this is a WIP shot.

p.s.: fantastic design choice for Dejah Toris to have red paint on her body. it looks good and at the same time hides her skin and so MPAA will be happy

Beautiful!! This is the type of epic space opera I've been wanting to see for a looong time. More importantly, finally geting to see all of the fascinating stuff Burroughs created now on celluloid!!

I think they are still working on the effects. I thought the martians were suppose to be bigger than the one in the teaser?

depends on the martian race. the red men of mars are regular human size. but the green men are much taller.

Andrew Stanton is a genius; WALL-E is one of my favorite movies of the last 10 years, and Finding Nemo is nothing to sneeze at either. I have a lot of faith in anything he does.

Alien looks shoddy, but they've got a couple months to iron that out. Environments look fascinating though, so that's a huge relief. It's been a while since we've seen a fully realized digital world (Avatar aside).

i will whait for Stanton to see if he is a good live action director.
but for now 3 thumbs up :
-no shaky cam
-soft realistic lighting
-natural colors. no forced blue lighting like with Bay ,Snyder and every f.... summer movie in the last 5 years.

This. I love the camera work. So tired of shaky cam!

They're still working on the alien but I the one that we saw was the 'good'' one played by Willem Dafoe. I can tell because he also looks cute looking.

Awesome trailer. I'm excited for this movie! 2012 will be great for cinema.

When does this movie come out? Because they always say they're "still working on the FX".

I'm guessing the trailer will be attached to Captain America?
