Get Ready For A Third "Journey"

With "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" having already passed $275 million at the global box-office, New Line is moving forward with a third movie in the series reports Heat Vision.
The sequel's director Brad Peyton and writers Brian Gunn and Mark Gunn have all closed deals to return for another film which is being fast tracked to be in theatres by 2014.
No deals have yet been discussed with any returning cast members. Beau Flynn, Tripp Vinson and Charlotte Huggins will produce.

The article says something about the second film being a reboot? What the heck does that mean?

Whatever.

I first thought the next film will be about Atlantis. The article says the film is going to be bigger, and Atlantis was hinted at in the last scene in the first film.
But as they only go with Verne stories, I think it's either going to be a submarine adventure or a trip to the moon
