Some potential here, Considine is a decent actor and it's good to see Julia Stiles avoiding rom coms, plus the source material is from an interesting writer.

Julia Stiles ("Bourne" films) will star opposite Paddy Considine and Scott Speedman in the thriller Cry of the Owl, playing a woman who falls in love with her stalker.
Sarah Polley was initially attached to star in writer-director Jamie Thraves' adaptation of the 1962 novel by Patricia Highsmith (The Talented Mr. Ripley) for producers BBC Films and Myriad Pictures' Kirk D'Amico, but she dropped out because of a scheduling conflict.
Considine will play the man who moves to Stiles' suburban town and begins spying on her. Speedman will play her jilted ex, who complicates matters further when he plots revenge against her.
Principal photography is set to begin Oct. 30 in Toronto. Highsmith's book was previously adapted in a 1987 French-language film by director Claude Chabrol.
