Jurassic World - Part 5

So I'm guessing the i-Rex smashes up the aviary and the pteranodons get out that way.

I'm guessing it gets loose and it destroys and wanders into many different paddocks, thus releasing many different species.

No ones talking about the Terminator super bowl teaser!

Agreed.

My favourite shot of the trailer was the helicopter approaching the island. I love those types of visuals, especially with this franchise.

Me and Darth discussed it and how we want the mother of Dragons. I guess we will have to share her.

Agreed those island approaching shots are beautiful. Even the ferry approaching makes me feel all giddy.

"Ain't no thing like me, 'cept me"

No sorry haha, this is nowhere near as bad and cannot be compared to the raptor saying Alan!

lol, I know, it just popped into my head.

This movie looks awesome. I really dig the "what if the park HAD worked" thing this has going on. :cwink:

20,000 people. Oh boy, the carnage in this movie may be off the rails. Well time to call in Star lord the Raptor Whisperer I guess. Hey and look, people actually shooting at the Dinosaurs. It only took four movies for that to happen.

I think this could possibly be better than the last Jurassic Park movie.

I think (hope, really) the shooting is inflicting damage on the i-Rex, but also leading it to the T-Rex Kingdom. Please let the original Rex from the 1993 film save the day. :cwink:

In the third movie they try to shoot at a dinosaur, but it doesn't end well. Mostly because if it did, there'd be no movie.

A few bullets would probably take down a Jurassic Park "raptor". A T. Rex on the other hand. Good luck with that one.

If it can be in the same galaxy as the first film, I will be very happy.

Really it looks like the old spirit of the first film but I'm mainly getting the original book's vibe to it which I absolutely ****ing love.

It seems that the I-Rex will be the catalyst for all the chaos. I love the idea of a Predator like dinosaur wreaking havoc by himself on an island. It seems like it only escalates and gets worse, and worse, and worse.

What I also love is that it seems pretty quickly, there is a response to the I-Rex. The military looks like it's there and is helping out and perhaps even there is a decision to just kill every dino. **** looks like it's getting very serious. It fits into the escalation idea of just when you think it's gonna get better and might help, it only gets worse. And boy, 20,000 people stuck on an island with loose dinos? I love it. It's very fresh and exciting with a new kind of unimaginable horror. And that's EXACTLY what you need in a Jurassic Park film. Unpredictability. So so far, Trevorrow has succeeded in making something fresh which I never thought could happen for a JP film before this was announced.

My favorite shot is of Pratt holding the rifle surrounded by the armed men. This feels like a Jurassic Park movie. And I love how it actually looks SCARY. The I-Rex is gonna make people very nervous in theaters. I want that Crighton sci fi horror back in my Jurassic Park.

And for a long time I was struggling with the idea of all this happening again. But I totally buy the fact the park has been functional and successful for the past ten years, THEN something goes wrong when they try to up themselves. It's curious to think that maybe for once, this horrible idea may have been good but when they tried to reach a little higher, it's became a bad idea all over again. They achieved what was said couldn't be, to just create a self fulfilling prophecy.

Malcolm will always be right. :o I need that on a t-shirt.

They aren't going to do a scene like this exactly, but if this film gives me the same sense of horror as when that nurse found a compy eating the baby in the crib, I'll be happy.

Looks like [blackout]a woman might actually die after all.[/blackout]

:funny:

Reading that as your avvy makes that even funnier. But now that you mention it, I never thought about that.

But in all seriousness, this spot got me very excited. More so than I was with the first trailer. Which was good, but not as effective as TFA trailer despite the shorter length. And this was effective.

I think the Super Bowl was great, but does anybody else feel like the Velociraptor models are slightly...I don't know, off? The bodies and faces seem fuller than the raptors in JP1, and the heads don't have that "updated, more accurate" shape as they do in JP3.

I think we can all agree the far most effective commercial during the game was the Nationwide one.

That escalated quicker than an I-Rex's jaw span.

Awesome post good sir.

I don't think they feel off.

That ad was almost as shocking as the end of the game.

Great TV spot. Sad they didn't tease Rex, but I can understand why they'd want to keep the boss under wraps.
