How does that work, when embargoes are lifted early verses the ones that don't? Can the studio get a peak at the early consensus, and then decide on the embargo?

When the word is good they are lifter early ( see mad max), when it isn't, it usually happen two days prior to release. The peak usually comes via twitter and other social media places. I don't have to read a full review to know if a critic likes it or not anymore on twitter. Or you can have a **** movie like ALOHA and let the critics slaughter it a bit early. t:

Well it's always hard to tell b/c Rise of the Planet of the Apes had an embargo till the release date and it was beloved by critics. But in most cases, it's bad news unless someone can challenge me on it, haha. At least, lift the embargo the Monday on the week OF the release.

Because I'm so intuitive, I have the same feeling about Jurassic World, that I had with Tomorrowland, and that is of uncertainty.

My username might be Godzilla, but believe me when I say that the Jurassic Park series is my obsession. I love anything Jurassic Park. Heck, I remember growing up and wearing out 5 or 6 vhs copies of the original film from watching it so much. I'm so unbelievably stoked about Jurassic World. And I've loved every bit of what's been released. I have countless Jurassic merch from 100s of figures, posters, shirts, etc. Its been 14 years since JP3. I feel like a little kid all over again when it comes to Jurassic World. June 11th can't come soon enough!

Watching TLW, did anyone notice the awesome standee for "William Shakespeare's King Lear" starring Arnold Schwarzenegger? I've watched this film hundreds of time sbut I always love seeing it/

I couldn't avoid this even if I wanted to as my family has been anticipating this for a long time. Probably since about 2008 they've been bugging me about the release of the film as though I'm the head of universal studios. Hell, they just about killed me when I told them the film was probably getting canceled back when the author died. All that said I'm not sure what to expect from this film quality wise but it looks like a fun flick to see in 3d.

Universal Studios Hollywood refurbished the ride this year. I watched Youtube video of the refurbished ride and was disappointed. You can barely tell the difference. The Dino's got some new skin with brighter colors and that's about it. They really should do a total upgrade of the ride and add Jurassic World stuff.

Ugh so excited! I am so glad Trevorrow took this one. It's in good hands, he's so passionate about it.

I want the movie to be good, and it's so hard to say. I also thought I had a 6th Sense about these things when it comes to quality. Not so much for Jurassic World. Must be the Force.
