Jurassic World - Part 8

I'd go as far as saying TLW's weakest scene is better than JP3's best. I'll always have a soft spot for TLW, and remember seeing it a cinemas.

The nostalgic factor could possibly see it remain my second favourite in the series - but I think JW will be a worthy entry nonetheless.

JP3 is canon, but I have no problem ignoring it even happened.

I like The Lost World far more than JP3 but nothing beats Kelly's kick to raptors in worst scene department imo.

Yea Lost World is definitely better than JP3 in my opinion. I know Lost World has a lot of flaws, dumb characters, and plot holes but JP 3 just felt like a cash grab movie. The story really didn't need to be told and I found the kids parents in JP 3 to be way more annoying and stupid than any of the characters in Lost World.

I hated how that little kid survived 8 weeks alone and thowing gas bombs and gets urine etc etc.

It was adults needed his help. Maybe they should have tried to save dinosaurs from the kid.

Both parents were annoying, Tea Leoni was the worst, William H Macy just looked bored all the time and couldn't act.

Though there are many things I don't like about JP3, I still like certain scenes from the movie, the Spinosauraus chasing the group and pteranodons attack in the aviary as well as the raptor squad following them in the end were done well, haha.

Yeah there are some scenes I enjoy. But definitely overall it's last on my rankings for the trilogy and more than likely will be last still after JW. I'm gonna marathon them soon before JW, JP3 is one that I can get up to use the bathroom or whatever without having to pause it haha.

What really sucks about JP3 is that they talk about how Eric have survived for 8 weeks on the island alone, something that would have been pretty cool if we actually got to see it, but instead it's only talked about, and what we actually get to see is Tea Leoni and William H Macy running around and shouting for 90 minutes.

In theory, a survival movie set on Isla Nublar/Isla Sorna with someone without knowledge or expertise trying to survive could actually be cool, and different to see.

The best part of the movie (JP 3) was this kid taking Dr. Grant's phone and giving it to his mom, haha.

I think CGI & animatronics were almost perfect but the way director's selections made some shots look robotic.

Actually they look better than Jurassic World dinosaurs.

Im Surprised that there are not some type of showings of doing a Double Feature with Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park only because I would just love to see that film again just before seeing Jurassic World. They wouldn't or they shouldn't show JP 2 or JP 3 for that matter.

Yeah that would be cool. Oh well I am definitely watching JP and TLW also at home before I see JW.

Same here JPIII gets too much flack in my eyes, it was a decent threequel and the Spino was great.

I don't take much stock in social media buzz. Gad says the last 20 minutes are cinematic bliss, but what about the rest of the film? At this point, anyone could take that comment and interpret as anything. As of now where I am, I interpret is as why isn't he talking about the entire film? When someone loves a film, don't they usually just mention a film?
