Jurassic World - Part 8

Those f***ing feathers...

......that's why Jurassic World seem to be s******g on science, instead of trying to stay updated on what dinos look like according to the discoveries of the experts.

For the best I say. Otherwise raptors would look like big chickens. Oh boy, how scary. But science guys!

The only good things about JP 3 was seeing Grant and Saddler again and the now infamous scene where the Raptor says "Alan" LOL.

Yeah that would be cool. Oh well I am definitely watching JP and TLW also at home before I see JW.

TLW is on TV in the UK tonight and I'm watching it as I type :yay:

After watching the JW trailers my friends and I are really looking forward to seeing the movie on 11th June. I was hoping to get a double screening of JP and JW but sadly nothing. The classic 'Terminator' movie is being shown at the end of June though so it's not all bad news!

I don't mind the fact that Sadler and Grant aren't together. I just wish they did something more with it. Like some actual arc. Like Grant acknowledging he ****ed up at some point with her and in some way tried to come to terms with it. Would have been cool to see Grant try to leave a message on her phone apologizing for everything.

Are there some early reviews of the film? Any king of reaction?

I'm still conflicted on this one. It's been discussed far too much as it is, but I just can't get over the artificial look of the Dinos. Odds are my nostalgia for JP will win and I'll be watching this movie regardless of the fact that nothing about it excites me.

I'm with you on that, still not feeling anything from this.

I'd love to see feathers on dinosaurs. As it should be.
I wouldn't. The JP dinosaurs are genetically modified theme park monsters, as Grant put it in JP3. They filled in the genetic gaps with other species such as frogs. That's enough reason for me to explain why they don't have feathers.

I don't put anymore stock into them having feathers than not. Scientist constantly changed their "facts" so no one knows for sure.

Dinosaurs are cooler sans feathers anyway.

Feathers are lame. No one wants fluffy dinosaurs.

I saw an artists interpretation of a feathered T-Rex and, I don't know, it looked pretty freaky to me. Feathers or no feathers, it's still a big ass monster with huge sharp teeth trying to kill you. :funny:

Yeah, a giant chicken with teeth might be terrifying, but still not as badass as a mommaflippin dragon.

Hell yeah great shot!
*looks at new TV spot*

Watching the little featurettes on ABC Family right now. They are showing them with DH. Good stuff and man is Pratt charming as ever.
