Key & Peele

You are a child of the Universe no less than the trees for starting a thread for them. I love this show, and to be honest, I don't think we've seen this duo reach it's stride yet. They compliment each other so much, I have a hard time believing that they did not grow up together, but the on screen ease and rapport these 2 have is at freakin' Tomax and Xamot level. All in all I can't wait to see the rest of the season.

Yeah. I have only seen a few episodes so far, but the Zombies being racist, & the crying Gangsta is my favorite so far.

So they didn't grow up together? WOW! They have great chemistry!

Whoa, you are a little behind. Time for a weekend binge.

They both have a huge talent for doing those kind of faux emotionally heavy set ups that then just degenerate into the most over the top brain fart styled comedy. That takes a kind of genius.

My fav skit is the Basketball player

"Kids you can fly"

You... Are... Immortal!

Then the cut to the player in his civies doing a press conference. Great stuff.

They cover the gamut. Even the out there stuff, or mid range humorous material is chuckle worthy. Maybe it was because I am not into Potter, but I did not think the Inner City Hogwarts sketch was over the moon funny, but it was still getting me to laugh and smile.

This show rocks, gotta love the black kid walking down the street with a white guy face on his hoodie so they don't mess with him haha

Hilarious! Caught up with the show a few weeks ago when seasons 1 & 2 were On Demand.

The show is a lot funnier than I thought it would be, but their sketches go on for too long in some cases, which hurts the funny. The "biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii..." sketch was pretty good, but it ran the joke into the ground.

I think it depends on the person watching or the bit. I have seen many a sketch that's gone on too long. That being the case though, there is always that sketch that starts funny with a concept, goes into overdrive with the idea until it's not funny, then keep going until it's funny again. For me, that bit is like that.

I love that I have 2 seasons of goodness to watch. Marathon!!!

Oh man... Let us all know when you see the Obama: The College Years sketch. I swear I thought that was going to swerve the election one way or the other.

They actually had met the President before that sketch aired. They said he had told them to "not let me be too crazy now." Well, once you see the sketch you'll see they totally disregarded his request. :woot:

I swear, Peele's Obama is just amazing! His college stuff was the bomb. If he was skinnier. He would look almost exactly like him.

Last night was worth it just for the Batman sketch! LOL. Can't believe they didn't bring up Bane though.

Just started watching recently. Yeah, some of the skits can be too long or be off, but there's genius in the ones that click.

The range of the comedy is quite surprising as well. Personal favs: MMA fight preview, I'm retired badass, baby Forest Whitaker (that's downright creepy!).

"Whys peoples always messin' wit da Batmans?"

I'd like to think that the two slaves in the "Mandingo fight" parody are the same two slaves who were mad about being passed for auction. I'd also like to think those slave's descendents are the two guys in Nazi Germany.

I just watched there Les Mis skit, hillarious
