I'm very doubtful if they could make a game so strongly time-based and quick reacting without messing it in the online. The minimun quantity of lag would drop or mess up every combo.

I wonder if this will be useable by other debs? There is nothing more annoying than playing say a sports title, spotting some issues then waiting for the team to create a patch, submit it to MS, then for MS to release it. Hopefully this will allow teams to bypass that completely.

Microsoft had KI on the Twitch stream earlier. They was talking about plans to make Cinder a grapler type and showing the classic outfits before launch. The people in the twith chat kept asin for the players to pick Orchid, but they wouldn't listen. At the end in the last fight one of the guys did a random select and it landed on Orchid and they stopped the vid in trollish fashion. They ended it with " ou guys wanted to see Orchid, there you go!"

Cinder a grapple character? Not very convincing, but we'll see how that idea works!

To clarify: The question was if Phoenix Fire, an old Thunder move from KI1, would show up since he's now a grappler. Mike Willette (the producer) said "no, but we like that move, so wouldn't it be interesting if we built a whole character around Phoenix Fire?" Which is why the chat exploded with "OMG, HE'S HINTING AT CIIINDEER! aasfsdjlk"

I'm still not sure what all the secrecy around Orchid is about. She must be really unfinished if they have to keep hiding her.

Cinder can fly, so I think he'll be aerial MvC type with quarter screen flame thrower.
