Kitchen Nightmares

This episode sucked. That restaurant is going under. How do you get yourself out of 80,000 in debt?

already stated the reason: the owner is a idiot

He was overstocking his fridge, giving out huge portions, and had to much staff on each night....I thought it was pretty cut and dry. The fridge alone saved the guy probably a couple grand a month.

joe's mom should have been throwing punches..that would have been funny

$80,000 in the hole..wow

"old bag" comment was priceless

That "soup" the tortellini came in looked like cloudy dishwater. Good thing Gordon straightened them out.

This new U.S. show has certainly got a more "feel good" element to it than the UK version.

I loved the first episiode of the new series of the UK version where they guy went nuts.

He said "he ain't God, his Gordon Ramsey". I think there was swearing in there as well.

That Ragu comment was low.
I agree this show does have a lot more of a feel good to it.
I suppose Gordon can relate to the owners and the stress they're enduring.

Thanks for the link Donnie. :yay:

Also, I think the focus of the U.S. show is family-style restaurants, where the owners and their own loved ones would really be in deep, deep sh!+ if things don't change.

In the British version, he seemed to go after a lot of trained but arrogant and pompous "elite" chefs and maitre d's who were dragging down their businesses. That in itself was fun to watch in a different way.

I don't get the BBC anymore so i can't watch it :csad:

This show is o.k, but doesn't hold a candle to Hell's Kitchen....btw, when's that coming back?

So funny how Gordon was fighting with the older lady

Ugh, this guy is just ugh.
Did they give the gorilla a sedative?

He makes Italians look bad. What a *****e.

This past weeks was an old episode right??? I could have sworn I've seen that one before....anyway next weeks looks real good. Gordon doesn't seem like a fan of the French

I know, right. :p
That really is an awesome name for a restaurant. Just the decorating possibilities and menu ideas. *dreams*

Just watch kitchen nightmares on bbc america to get your fill.

I so want me some Devon.

*Did this guy say he was $300K in debt? How is he not closed?
