Anybody else love this movie? It's corny and artificial and superficial and saccharine, but yanks wildly at my heartstrings and just won't let go.
Writer/director Karan Johar hasn't come close to it since...his latest, the infidelity comedy KABHI ALVIDA NAA KEHNA, was like a nasty live-action Looney Tune with characters that I loathed. But with KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI, he's made his mark for his lifetime anyway.
Too bad it can't get a theatrical release in the U.S., especially at this late date...there are so many people who would love to discover it!
