Las Vegas cabbie finds $300,000 in backseat, returns it to poker player

I'd have given the cabbie $30,000. That's 10% and about the amount of an ok year's salary. It would allow the cabbie to get ahead on his bills and take care of some stuff in his life. Plus I think it can be filed as a personal donation and is tax deductible so both parties benefit.

If I were the cab driver, I'd have kept all the money as the universe's tip.

Like I said, he'd likely have been caught within a day and be arrested. At least by being honest he got a decent payday out of it.
