well, since i can create any thread without corp biting my head off, nd pokershirt defending my honor,

i want to know what all you guys think about what the 616 universe should never bring back. ill start and if anyone has any thoughts put them in here. if you dont, feel free to bash.

1.pheonix force. how many times do they have to stop that b**** from destroying everything?

2.Infinite crossovers. while gauntlet was acceptable, the rest freakin sucked

3.Apocalypse reappearing. s**t... i hated his last appearance with a passion

Just staying true to your expectations, as declared in the first post. :)

1. definitely agree with
2. I actually liked Infinity War back in the day
3. agree... his last appearance sucked hard

my ideas for what they don't need...
1. Gwen Stacy- leave her dead and gone. We don't need any more stories about her, her children, her clones or how much Peter still loves her.
2. Bendis books (it had to be said)
3. Jean Grey resurrections- leave her dead this time... PLEASE

corp...its ok, im glad its you taking those cheap shots and not those...what did you happily call them...NEWBIES!

"hey, leave off of cleric!"
there. can i get paid now? your last check bounced you sunnuva #!*%& !!

dead really should mean dead, so no more jean grey - donnie darko was right.

no more unnecessary reboots. no more #1s unless they are struggling books that need more promotion, like spider-girl.i think that was a good move. so no more new avengers, no starting spider-man/x-men books from #1 and i hope mighty avengers takes up the 500-odd numbering eventually.

no more events that mean nothing. i think, however bad house of M may have been, it was necessary to clear up the incredible amount of mutants threatening to distort earth-616 and hopefully there will be interesting changes in status quo after civil war. yes crossovers can be enjoyable but if there's too many events then it gets boring.

no more totem-spider-man stuff. it's been done. we don't need it back.

next Captain America #1 I see will probably send me over the edge

The #1 thing I never gotten why it bothers people so much, who cares its just a number? Seriously, whats the difference between an issue #1 and issue #345? Nothing, its still the same quality. And I know a lot of people who have gotten into some really good titles with a new #1, like for example Captain America. Really, how many of you would have started reading Bru's run for not a #1?

I probably would have, but that's because I have no issue with picking up an issue with an high number. To me its all stories. I understand the re-issuing of numbers tho, so really i'm just here to make absolutely no point at all.
