The HBO special will probably be the exact same thing as the Sneak Peak of Spider-Man 3 that will be on the new Spider-Man 2.1 dvd that is coming out next week on the 17th of April.

As a person that's been following most of the film's production and post production, I think these appearances are utterly pointless. They offer nothing new and the cast pretty much reitterate what they've said.
to you....and other spider-man fanboys, yes. to the majority of people, big no.

and i stil enjoy the cast making appearance and small talk or whatever.

on another note, isn't 4/18 a bit early for leno. they better have something big planned for thurs 05/03 or morning 05/04

I agree SLYSpyder. These appearance are not pointless to those of us who closely follow and actually care about the actors who play the parts outside of Spideyville. Certainly no less pointless than the activities of those who piss vinegar on the boards day-in-day-out.

As for 4/18 being early to start promoting the film.....since the film is first premiering outside of the US, the actors will be busy traveling abroad in late April/early May. That's probably why they're hitting the US press circuits early.

Update: Kirsten Dunst is going to be on Letterman on Monday the 30th, Tobey on Regis and Kelly Tuesday the 1st, and then Kirsten will be on Regis and Kelly the 2nd? They're taking over. In other news, we are coming to San Francisco in two weeks, so if your from that area, check our website for tickets. Also, Conan is going to be appearing on Leno Friday the 27th, just on an interesting side note. (I still have a TV show/network to promote). Sorry to get you excited about Topher Grace, it seems to have been just a rumor.

Starz Special is April 28, I assume you guys already know. Just to point out to Tivo users, don't be alarmed when SHH says "Starts 10:55". Simply go to channel recording and go to Starz on April 28. It lists all of the shows going on. Right after Cars on the list is "On the Set". Click on it to view the browsing information. It should say "Spider-Man 3" or something...Actually very easy...

Ummm...haven't really been looking at the other posts, but to clear up some confusion on the Ellen Show and the dancing, I have no idea about anything about his appearence besides when it is, its just common for guests to dance with Ellen because she has this whole thing where she can not really dance well, but she always does. It really doesn't work well, kind of like Conan trying to be sexy with his dances. To make up for creating false hopes and so the strong, muscular spidey dudes on this boards do not come after me, here is everything I know up until this point:
