The comic series, not the bloody cartoon.

I know Karate Kid is running around current DCU right now, so it begs the question...

What does everyone think of this series? I know it doesn't get talked about alot. The more "controversial" comics get alot of play...

But I find this to be one of the better written and more consistant series DC puts out. I've enjoyed it immensely for all of it's run.

I even accepted their introduction of Supergirl, though I was afraid they were going to use her to "sex up" the series.

Come on, if they can write SUPERGIRL right it shows some ****ing talent.

Am I the only person reading this series?

PS Dream Girl/Brainiac = OTP
PSS Shud up. I'm a fangirl, get over it.

I don't want to go there...damn it...*goes to thread*

That thread hasn't been updated in over three months. It no longer counts.

pre-OYL was pretty damn good. thats the run i suggest you read. OYl is'nt bad,but pre-oyl was alot better.

I've read pre-OYL.

I loved it all.

Seriously, I think it's one of the better written and more stable series, yet it does not get a lot of fanlove...ANYWHERE.

I love the current Legion. The first few arcs were better than the later ones, but it's still pretty good.

I Wish They Would Give Karate Kid A Series Of 21rst Century Adventures Like He Had 20th Century Adventure In The Silver Age

Isn't that what they're doing by keeping him in the present?

i just posted there:ninja:

To piss me off, right?

JK.

Pssht, more ADVERTISEMENT.

Make those damn DC readers PAY ATTENTION.

I find the "pairing" of Shadowlass and Karate Kid, even in the past (as it's mentioned) odd.

Hell, I find most of the Legion's pairings odd as hell.

Oh, well that'd be cool, too. The Silver Age Karate Kid is just about the only Silver Age Legionnaire whom I prefer over his modern counterparts.
