Darkwing Duck is one of those shows you love as a kid and come back to and realize it actually is pretty lame.

The reason I'm so scared to watch He-Man, Cities of Gold or Thundercats back.

I'd be devastated if they sucked, and I've already got it on good info that He-Man most definitely DOES.

I'm actually afraid to watch an episode of this now because i used to love it so much as a youth and it could never live up to my nostalgia tainted memories of it.

He-Man from the 80's didn't age well, but if you haven't watched the Mike Young Series from 2002, I would highly recommend it.

i'm one of the biggest fans of the masters of the universe series and i will admit that the 80's one doesn't age well, though forget the most of what you remember and it's still a decent series just don't go in expecting a masterpiece

There is some Thundercats episodes on Youtube, it has aged pretty well IMO. Thundercats was the ULTIMATE Saturday morning T.V when I was younger.

I had every episode recorded on BETA when I was a kid.

I saw DWD on DVD at Best Buy the other day and really wanted to pick it up, but this^ is why I didn't. :csad:

But I probably will anyway. :o

This cartoon will hold up for the ages because it didn't take itself too seriously. I think he-man and thundercats did. Plus, Darkwing looks like it spent more money on animation quality than the other two. Plus, 80's cartoons versus 90's cartoons: there's no doubt which one was supreme.

I found all my old Darkwing Duck toys the other day. Ahh, precious memories.
That show was so awesome, I dont remember another show I would literally rush home from school to watch.
