Based on the book that attempts to uncover the real story of Jesus via multiple historical documents from various walks of life. Hollywood is really getting into the biblical epic craze again.

Wow. When I was reading the book, I was thinking that it would make a fantastic film because of Aslan's beautifully written and very human descriptions of Jesus's life. I am studying filmmaking and I even started writing my own screenplay based on the book. Looks like Lionsgate was ahead of the game.
