Lionsgate to take on Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth

Richard Donner's SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE is the most accurate movie about Jesus ever made. Trust me, I had over 12 years of Catholic School education. :oldrazz: :word: :woot:

You got me, I totally forgot about that one. And E.T. too. And Highlander 2: The Quickening.

"There you go again."

:whatever:

Sometimes you need to pop your KING OF KINGS and THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD blu rays out of the player and put some more current Jesus centric films in there.

One directed by John Houston, and one with Jon Voight in the role?

But why don't they ever make films of David and Goliath, or Tower of Babel (just to mention a couple)?

The New Testament pretty much retcons the Old Testament. So Christians generally want to see JayCee.

But the new Testaments so damn bOOOring. :o

Unless they do Revalations. That would be interesting.

We don't really even get Jesus films all that often.Usually it's all "made for TV mini series". Apart from Passion of the Christ, what was the most recent Jesus film in wide release? The Greatest Story Ever Told from the mid 60's?

Apparently doing What If? Bible stories is frowned upon. :o

The Bible isn't one of those "Choose your own ending" books.:oldrazz:
