BvS List what you want to be or what to happen in this movie.

- The Trinity talking about their significant others in an endearing way.

- It would be cool to see Selina Kyle and Steve Trevor referenced in some way.

- Lois Lane to become an empowering character that has a fan favourite moment.

My theory is that Superman dies after fighting Doomsday and that's what inspires characters like Cyborg and Flash to come out of hiding and become superheroes; either that or they get recruited by Batman, who's honoring his new friendship with dead Superman. I like it precisely because it feels like a neat ending, it closes up the Superman/Batman arc in way that makes it feel like the movie accomplished something... while also setting up the JL and justifying the cameos so they don't feel forced.

I understand that theory but I don't necessarily like it. I'd think there are more creative, interesting ways to form the Justice League than to do it over a meaningless death, which we all know will last about as long as it takes Joker to escape from Arkham.

Besides, we aren't really attached to this Superman yet as an audience. His death wouldn't be as impactful as it would be later on, when he's been the leader etc etc. MoS was the first contact story and while BvS should further develop him as a hero, it's way too premature to kill him off. The focus should be on starting new bonds and companionships, not ending anything.

A movie where Batman and Superman first meet, clash, team-up, and then end with Superman dying and Batman honoring him would be way too rushed, especially considering WB has the luxury of playing the long game with this franchise. I'd definitely like to see a Death of Superman plot line, but a whole lot has to happen before it becomes impactful.

Originally the last thing I would have wanted was the Death - and in the second movie, no less - but what they're doing is already so far removed from what I wanted at first that I feel a bit more open to unconventional thought. More than a wish it's a theory, because I think there's enough stuff that's pointing towards a "Death" scenario at the moment. It would feel rushed in the context of it only being the 2nd movie, but in and of itself I don't think it's beyond being an effective moment or an interesting story decision.

The main thing I like about it is that it immediately gives Superman an interesting arc in JL: his resurrection, maybe dealing with having no powers at first, telling his loved ones that he's back, etc. It would be his own thing and make his story stand out among all the other plots. Instead of him being the overly powerful guy that has to stand back and let the rest of the JL show off -- which I think is a risk, and occasionally a problem in JL comics or cartoons. Precisely because he's so powerful, he needs a bit of extra effort to be interesting. That's always been an issue with Superman, and I think it needs to be taken into account when writing him as part of a team.

Superman and Batman to tie or pass out during the big fight.

It will leave both Superman fans and Batman fans satisfied and see that both heroes are equal.

Supes getting bested in figth by Diana:

DIANA:Where did you train? IN A FARM?

Supes flapping around trying to swim at superspeed:

AQUAMAN:Where did you train? IN A FARM?

Supes getting outsmarted in the detective area by Bats:

BATS: Where did you train? IN A FAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRMMMM??????

Wonder Woman to have a great showing in the movie.

A showing which will impress the general audience greatly, and it can create a new found popularity for the character.

It's the first step to getting people hyped for her solo movie.

- For the Superman/Batman fight to be interrupted or end in a draw.

- For the final shot to be a glorious team-up of the Justice League, Green Lantern included.

That's about it, really. We're getting a freaking Batman and Superman movie, that alone is something I never thought would happen.

The first meeting between Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne has to be monumental, it's what the audience have been waiting for.

This first time of the two characters meeting is the most vital thing. It must be on the level of the Joker's intro in TDK, in which the audience is salivating for it.
