BvS List what you DONT want in the movie.

This is the only time where i think it's possible to be emotionally invested in a character during a Snyder movie. Only because of Terrio. The possibility is there.

This. Can't say I'd be confident in that without Terrio on board.

If I wanted useless comments from the people who get pissy everytime there's a not so positive opinion shared, I would've put my post in the "Skepticism" thread.

List all the things you don't want, man. It goes great with you.

I just for one don't see the Xena reference. You can hate the costume and the actress all you want.

Must be my one eye.

Yep, must be.

Like I told HD, I am well aware of what I can and can't do. I'm not the one that needs reminding.

^ Yup....and its the same old people too.

I don't want:

1) A supes/Lois romance that feels perfunctory. If it's just there to fill the seemingly mandated "kissyface" quotient and endowed with the depth of a kiddy-pool in July, I'd rather forgo it. Make it interesting and heart-warming instead.

2) Overly-jerky batman. I don't mind him having an stand-offish attitude and sporting scars from his past that manifest in various ways. I don't even mind him doing some questionable things to supes if he thinks it necessary, but please don't make him some irredeemable psycho. I hope they show the duality of his nature (meaning he is tender to those he protects and not so with those he opposes).

3) "JL Begins." I'm aware that it's possible to "world-build" and have a decent self-sufficient story. I hoping for that, but I fear this movie feeling like little more than a JL commercial featuring a little of everyone and not enough of anyone.

4) A Superman who never learns: I was not bothered by MOS's less-perfect superman, but sooner or later one realizes that the superman character is a paragon. He is wise, selfless, patient and strong in ways that few (if any) others are. I want to see him grow. I want to see him be someone looked upon in awe and not just because "he's kinda hot." MOS gave us his first foray into society and it wasn't a joyous occasion for some folks. Let him prove to people that his presence is a gift, not a pestilence.

5) Here's hoping Gal Gadot can act. She hasn't given a performance I enjoyed thus far. I hope that changes. I also hope WW doesn't feel shoehorned in or come off as an excuse to have a hot chick beat on things regardless of plot or reason.

6) "Cool" and pointless character fights. Many a person seemed to enjoy the Avengers' squabbling, but I did not. I thought it made them look petty and deflated any hope of tension. I'm not against character fights altogether; I just prefer they're raw and emotional in nature and have stakes involved. Cool-looking fights are fun. Cool-looking, meaningful fights that have a profound impact on the story are breath-taking and endlessly entertaining.

7) A mediocre script. Come on now, DC/WB. I know there's another Dark Knight in you somewhere.

 pretty well put. Especially number 6.

Even though it doesn't seem like it will be the case, I don't want a lot of action. :/ I still wish the "v" wasn't in the title even thought they say it won't be the focus of the movie.

I want to see the Superman/Lois Lane relationship evolve and become more of a romance. They have a unique shot at taking the Clark/Lois/Superman relationship to a new level.

Something I don't want is a love triangle involving Wonder Woman. I think there's more to the Superman/Lois Lane relationship that nothing should be takin' away from it.

You are so fixated on this. It's to the point where the most of the times I see you post in the BvS forum, it is to make a relatively pissy comment about someone who made a pissy comment about a not-so-positive comment that was shared. It's become a strange cycle and I have to wonder why you bother making a point of responding or posting about it as often as you do. I feel that as one of the ultimate Batman fans around here, you likely have much more to contribute to the various discussions that take place around here.

Anyway, I don't want to see Aquaman/Arthur Curry have more than a glorified cameo in this film. I don't want to see Doomsday, and I find it strange that so many people do.

Also, I want this film to be much more Earth-based and I DON'T want to see too many scenes (if any) take place in outer-space.

Wouldn't you want a scene with Superman above the earth and he here's screams for help and shoots down towards earth? That would a great shot.

That would be fine, although we've scene that exact scene already in Superman Returns. But I mean I don't want scenes with characters interacting in space or spending time up there, nor do I want a villain or threat from space (all of which we had in MOS and will have again in JL).

Hmmmm...Shape has a problem with me making pissy comments about other peoples pissy comments, but doesn't seem to have a problem with the fact that people are getting pissy about even the most mild of criticisms in the first place.

I mean, I have a problem with a lot of the things people post all over the Hype -- irregardless of the subject -- but not enough for me to continue harping on the same subject on a daily or weekly basis. It has long been firmly established that you like to swoop in and remind everyone that people are allowed to be negative, and you also like to call out those who get worked up about other people's negative opinions. But after so many comments or interactions regarding this subject, it is you who is starting to seem generally grumpy, unfriendly, and "pissy" (a word we have already both used way too much for anyone's good).

My comments to you are made in earnest and are in no way meant as "knocks", though I see you're attempting to sarcastically suggest that I am one those people who gets "pissy" about other people's criticisms. Either way, I was merely suggesting that I'm interested in the other things you have to say about Batman and this film, and I've had enough of this borderline "opinion segregation" we're seeing around here.

If I seem like that to anyone, its probably the people I never cared for to begin with. Now if posters like The Joker, Visualiza, or HafizBat described me as grumpy or unfriendly, then I would actually be concerned.

Opinion Segregation will end when, for example, I can post "I don't want a Boring Superman, Unlikable Batman, or Xena-ripoff WW" in the "Things you don't want" thread, without someone copying and pasting my post and putting it in the "Things you do want" thread in a sorry attempt to mock me.
