This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]374801[/split]
Friend zone jokes make me really, really uncomfortable. They seem very sexist to me.
EDIT: Well, okay, some friend zone jokes aren't sexist and are funny.
What I mean to say was THIS friend zone joke seems very sexist to me.
Why do friend zone jokes come off as sexist to you?
They are pretty damned true.
Because a lot of them seem to be based on two premises:
1: This is a trait inherent to most/all women.
2: Being nice to and supportive of a woman makes you entitled to be in a relationship with them.
These premises are kinda sexist.
1. Traits can be inherent to a group of people, that's why men and women are different.
2. Being nice to a woman doesn't entitle you to anything. But it is rather obnoxious when women constantly complain about there being "no good guys", but when the good guy comes around, the woman will never consider him anything more than just a friend, often leading him on in the process.
When was the last time you heard of a single man shipping a woman who showed interest in him, off to the friend zone?Because a lot of them seem to be based on two premises:

It's funny, because you complain about how all women claim all men are "no good". A bit hypocritical, eh?
To be honest, I tend to think friendzone jokes are only made by guys with an inferiority complex who think just because you're nice to a woman she owes you.
But back on topic, funny pics tiem!
I love this
Ahh, OKFFXIII-2. It involves a lot of time travel.
