I was just checking this out on youtube and growing up the gobots were the poor kids transformers, the whitetrash version, the bastard step son that should have been aborted at birth. But watching this now... listening to that god awful song... noticing how tacky the animation and vehicles are.. I remember the toys being flimsy at best.

Remember those figures that were basically a hologram on the front of a figure? Visionaries or something. Not to mention those space cowboys who rode horses that may have been robots.

Poor mans G.I. Joe here in the UK is Corps, often found in the pound shop.

Also how in the 80's did they get away with making cartoons and figures of adult films like Rambo & Robocop. They'd never do that these days with say Saw.

I had that action figure in his shorts, he was lucky where i lived you could buy a nude doll named 'Marine man' he was crap you raised his arm it fell off, not to mention if you sat him down his legs would just spread apart (before falling off) like some weird porn pose.

Plus he had no penis. Made me feel all kinds of weird, did i have extra parts or was he missing some?
