Inspired by another thread I saw, who else looks young for their age?

And does the Fountain of Youth end abruptly at a certain point, causing you age RAPIDLY , like you've caught a glimpse of the Ark of the Covenant?

I'm 28 and I get mistaken for being 19-23 all the time. While it's great, it can get annoying when older folks brush me off, or try to undermine me... thinking that's I'm a stupid kid. For the most part I can't complain but I'm just worried that when I hit my early 30s, everything will deteriorate!

I get told every now and then I look younger than I am. I don't know what I'm "supposed" to look like, but apparently, I ain't it.

I'm 20.

Im kinda worried Im not going to not look my age but im still young im 18 and people think im 14-16. But in a few years I guess ill find out if I age .

I look younger than I am. I grew out some facial hair which I think makes me look closer to my age (26)

I've always looked young for my age but now my hair is thinning out and without a hat I look older. I didn't know anything about hitting a brick wall in my early thirties , does this mean I'm screwed.

Also one of my exes was 32 and you could never tell by looking at her. She's closer to forty now and still looks like she's in her twenties.

I've looked 30 since I was 14. But same goes for my dad, hes 56 and looks 35.

What is younger to you...19? Hahahaha

You look 20 to me. I might have guessed 21. You don't look 17 or 16.

People have told me I look old for my age, which is a good thing I suppose.

You look 20. In fact, you look kind of like my bf and he's going to be 30 in March. :funny: Nobody believes him when he tells them he's almost 30! They think he's still in high school. :lmao:

Hasn't really held him back any, he's always been in pretty nerdy fields where your brain is infinitely better than your looks.

I'm the opposite - I consistently look 5 years older than I am. :o It should stop sometime since I'm Asian and you know we don't age...

I used to pass for much older growing up then I looked young for my age when I was super healthy in my mid-late 20's, came down with multiple sclerosis and I have aged rapidly the last 4 years.

Quite a wake up call for life.

I don't know if you look younger than 20 as such. With your high/ receding hairline at your age, that probably even adds a few years even now so that you don't look quite like a teenager. At least mid 20s from that photo. The hairline will probably play into things more significantly the older you get.

When people ask what I do and I tell them I'm in school, they always assume I mean university, so I must look at least a couple more years older than I am.

It's not receding. I've just got a big head. :word:

Most people are usually older than they look, it's a good thing in the long run when you start to get older. Just look at all the celebs trying to fight aging with plastic surgery.

I'm 24, but people assume I'm 16. Which makes dating and having a night on the town a little harder.

I'm 25 and quite a few people tell me I look between 17-19, how they figure, not sure......my bro is a couple years younger but most people think he looks older...a lot older...he hasn't aged to well, so I think I'm ok at the moment...

...probably just jinxed myself...

Not sure if I look older or younger....

I'm 19 and have got mistaken for 15 more than once. I wouldn't wish the curse of lack of decent facial hair on my worst enemy.

I'm 19 and get 23-26 all the time - I'm pretty sure it's about 80% the beard and 20% the way I dress.

It isn't just the receding hairline - my bf naturally has a super-high forehead so it looks like he has a receding hairing and people still think he's in HS.

It's the combination of large eyes with very slight frame that yells "baby face." Most guys tend to fill out in their 20's. Hasn't happened yet for my bf. :funny:

My boss claims I look older than I really am because I look like I "have my s*** together." :funny: I'll take that as a compliment!

I look old enough that I can't relate to young people but young enough to alienate old people. Here I am... stuck in the middle with you.

When I was 30 I still looked like I did at 18. I'm 38 now and have gray hairs sprouting daily and some serious crows feet going. Not as cool as Clint Eastwood though. I'm turning into a grumpy guy though and getting more and more like my dad.

But that just makes you be part of the playing field for much longer, especially if you still look younger when you're in your mid to late 30s, say.

I think people's metabolisms slow down at different rates for different people, hence why it is harder for some to put on weight until they reach a certain age.

Also, if people act a certain way - ie more confident and put together, they can give off the impression of being older even if they look younger. The same holds true vice versa.

I'm always being mistaken for younger, especially since Asians never seem to age. It does get annoying when I talk about events that happened say 20 years ago and people automatically say "you probably can't remember that very well as you would've been just in kindergarten."
