Lyric mistakes??

Lola. One of the first times I really took the time to listen to all the lyrics closely I mistook "I got down on my knees, then I looked at her and she at me" for "I got down on my knees, I was in her then she in me."

I was just thinking,'wth did he just say O_o'

When I was in primary school I remember singing along to the hymn Lord of the Dance, instead of 'I am the lord of the dance said he' I thought it was 'I am the lord of the dance setee'

A setee is another word for sofa, I always had a strange image of a sofa dancing around Jerusalem.

my friend used to butcher the supremes, Stop in the NAME OF LOVE!
She sang Stop in the neighborhood

My Mum always sang the song 'I fought the law' as 'I fought the lord and, the lord won'

Like The Clash would be singing about getting a beatdown from God.

Haha, oh the irony of you butchering the title yourself :cwink:

ha ha i was reminiscing

i was also trying to think of how she used to sing Material Girl in a weird way, but i can't remember.

I thought Gwen stefani's song "hollaback girl" Was actually "harlem black girl"
I thought that was bad considering I don't think she would be a racist.
I have another one from Elton John with lyrics such as, "don't let your son go down on me!"
