Can anyone explain how this was done???

Anyone got any other tricks they'd like explained?

Invisible thread; its a pain to handle though. You can barely see it even up close, and it breaks so easily. Before this stuff came out magicians used to use single strands of hair for the effect, but the thread is much thinner.

EDIT: Not trying to advertise btw, just posting an example of a place the OP can get his hands on some if he wanted to. Let me know if I should remove the link.

It's totally string - the dollar bills BOUNCES from the car moving, for gosh sake. :funny:

I was thinking I was gonna see some actual awesome magic tricks. I have a friend (whom I actually met from here, he lurks) who's a professional magician, he's known for his card tricks and OMG he's SO GOOD. :awesome: His best tricks involve nothing fancy, just years of practice to perfect the sleight of hand and lightning-fast memorization. I took another friend to his show - she's super-crazy-observant and skeptical. Even sat next to him as a volunteer, and she didn't notice ANYTHING awry even after watching everything he did very closely. She recalled after the fact that she might have heard him palm a card once. :funny:

I mean, I know it's not magic, but when you know that, what he does is actually even more impressive. You start constructing the tricks as he's performing them, and you realize how good he is to hide it so well and so effortlessly. And memorize the order of the cards in his deck while also doing a comedy routine. :funny:
