Bethesda, Md. - A massive water main break has been reported at River Road and Bradley Drive in Bethesda.

Montgomery County (web | news) Police confirm that they received a call at 7:55 a.m. for a water main break. At least two cars were trapped by the flooding water.

One of those vehicles apparently rolled over with an occupant trapped inside. Fire and Rescue personnel are on scene.

The road is said to be completely flooded; commuters are strongly advised to find an alternative route. Bradley Boulevard and River Road are closed to traffic.

Its on all the major news channels, MSNBC says a dozen cars are trapped. Its also 17 degrees here, and it got as low as 10 last night, which means the water is pretty cold if I do say so myself.

But don't worry, your beloved Captain Planet is safe and sound.

Shouldn't you be doing something Captain Planet. Where's that girl with the water ring at...

Soooo glad I'm not in that county. I hate how damn cold it is right now, though.

Yeeah. Woot woot for being in Ellicott City, but NOT being in Ellicott City at the moment, it was 15 fricking degrees when I boarded my plane in Baltimore yesterday. :(

I could see my breath even in the frickin elevator in the parking garage going home from work last night :csad:

Sunday night I was outside wearing nothing but a short-sleeved tee shirt, light coat, jeans and shoes with no socks for an hour and 30 minutes.

And it was windy. Its the wind chill that gets to me. :down

I was watching this on the news this morning. I couldn't believe how much water was rolling down the street. It was amazing.

So bad for the Enviroment. :(

I was going to roll up there to get a Honey Baked Ham.....now, I'm not.

This means the baby's coming! WOOO!

Wow. That is possibly the absolute worst spot in the DC area for a water main break.

Sucks, this is like 5 minutes from where I live

saw it on the news. Pretty crazy stuff. But there was this one heavy set lady that was 'trapped' in her car and when the rescue worker came to get her out, you can see there was only about a foot of water. Just walk out *****!

Good rescue, I was so worried they were going to hit the power lines.

Does this mean Maryland is going into labor?

Oh you're a quick one Conn.

I remember once during high school football, we had a water break.

I love hearing those 911 calls. Way to keep it together lady.

I'm calling B.S. on that being Kevin Eubanks!:cmad:
It is him.

I know it's hard to tell cause he's not laughing. Cause usually he's laughing at even the lamest of jokes. So what does this say about yours? :csad:
