Transformers "Make Prime Speak" voting page is up - What was the point???...

... if half of the "finalists'" lines are either a given to be in the movie ("Autobots: Transform and Roll Out."), already in "Transformers: The Movie" ("I thought you were made of sterner stuff, Megatron."), or just plain crap ("These pretzels are making me thirsty!", "Bah weep gra-nah weep ninni bong.")? And this isn't out of bitterness that my line wasn't chosen or anything, I just assumed this contest would be taken a little more seriously and would actually "be based on originality, appropriateness to Prime's character and relevance to the Picture's story," as the official rules stated (which also apparently should have included the remark, "No knowledge of grammar or spelling needed to enter"). It almost seems like these were completely picked at random. A very large portion of these "finalists" have been on the main page of the official site since the SECOND DAY of an 11-day submission period. You're telling me that the following NINE DAYS only brought in THAT small a percentage of the finalists? - That out of the thousands of lines I'm sure they recieved, THESE are really the best 100? Hmmm...

being that Megatron originally was a hand gun
